From growth to embodiment

BodyMind Reset Week in Sardinia

Growth doesn't always require expansion. Sometimes, the next step is to pause, recognise how far you've come, and develop the confidence to carry that growth into your life. The BodyMind Reset Week is an immersive experience for people who want to move beyond understanding themselves and reconnect with their body, inner wisdom and natural way of being. Led by Monique van Proosdij, BodyMind coach and creator of the B-Life Method, this week combines daily BodyMind sessions, yoga, breathwork, fascia work, conscious movement, rhythm and body-oriented exercises. Rather than striving for a specific result, you'll explore what your body reveals, recognise old patterns and discover how to create more space for yourself without constantly pushing for more. With personal guidance, time in nature and space to rest, you'll develop greater body awareness, self-trust and the ability to integrate what you've learned into everyday life. Not another week of self-improvement, but a chance to embody your growth, trust what you've built and make room for what comes next.

Your 6-Day BodyMind Reset in Sardinia

Spend six days immersed in nature at a small-scale retreat in Sardinia, surrounded by tranquillity, open landscapes, and beautiful sea views. Away from the demands of everyday life, you’ll have the opportunity to slow down, breathe more deeply, and reconnect with yourself.

This retreat is created for those who feel constantly switched on β€” carrying everyday stress, physical tension, an overactive mind, or simply struggling to make space for genuine rest.

Through a combination of BodyMind sessions, yoga, breathwork, conscious movement, body-awareness practices, and time outdoors, you’ll be encouraged to move away from constant doing and towards greater ease, awareness, and presence.

What Makes This BodyMind Retreat Different

While many yoga retreats centre around yoga practice, flexibility, relaxation, or breathing techniques, the BodyMind Reset Week takes a more holistic approach. Yoga, breathwork, movement, and body awareness become tools for understanding how stress, tension, and emotions are experienced in your body. Rather than striving to stretch further or practise harder, you’ll learn to notice the subtle signals your body is giving you and explore the difference between:

  • Tension and release

  • Pressure and space

  • Effort and ease

  • Activation and relaxation

  • Doing and simply being

There is no focus on performance or achieving a particular physical result. Instead, the intention is to develop greater awareness of your body and create the space your nervous system needs to slow down and settle.

Features

  • More than a yoga retreat: Yoga is one of several tools used to explore the connection between body, mind, emotions and behaviour.

  • From understanding to embodied change: Recognise old patterns and discover how to respond and live differently.

  • Beyond postures and relaxation: Work with breath, fascia, conscious movement, rhythm and body awareness to explore what happens within you.

  • Personal guidance, not a standard programme: Monique adapts the process to the people and experiences present in each session.

  • A deeper level of self-awareness: Recognise where you hold tension, limit yourself or have more possibilities than you realise.

  • Growth you can carry into everyday life: Develop greater self-trust and learn to embody what you have already discovered about yourself.

  • Daily BodyMind sessions combining movement, reflection and experiential exercises.

  • A balance of guided sessions, rest, nature and free time in southern Sardinia.

  • Personal guidance by Monique van Proosdij, BodyMind coach and creator of the B-Life Method, with over 25 years of experience.

  • Small, personal group of maximum 6 participants.

The key difference: You don't simply practise yoga and return home relaxed. You explore what your body reveals about your patterns, experience new possibilities and learn how to bring those changes into the way you live. This is a BodyMind reset, not a yoga holiday.

Program

Day 1: Arrive and Unwind

After arriving at the retreat in Sardinia, you’ll have time to get comfortable in your private lodge and familiarise yourself with the surroundings.

A gentle meditation and embodiment practice will help you transition from everyday life into the slower rhythm of the retreat, bringing your attention back to your body and the present moment.

There is nothing to achieve on your first day. Simply arrive, settle in, and give yourself time to adjust.

Day 2: Finding a Slower Rhythm

Your morning starts with a mindful walk, inviting you to notice your body, your surroundings, and what changes when you deliberately reduce your pace.

Later in the day, you’ll experience your first relaxing BodyMind session, beginning the transition from always needing to do something towards feeling comfortable simply being present.

Day 3: Connecting With What You Feel

Today’s gentle movement, yoga, and BodyMind practices invite you to bring more attention to physical sensations and your inner experience.

Rather than analysing what comes up or immediately trying to change it, you’ll practise noticing and experiencing it as it is.

Gradually, the focus moves away from thinking about how you feel and towards experiencing what is happening in your body.

Day 4: Looking Within

By the fourth day, the quieter pace of the retreat creates more room for inner awareness.

Using breath, body-awareness practices, and observation, you’ll explore what lies beneath your usual patterns and responses.

You may begin to recognise what genuinely belongs to you and what you have been carrying unnecessarily. There is no pressure to reach conclusions or find answers β€” the focus remains on noticing and becoming aware.

Day 5: Creating Space and Ease

Today is dedicated to giving your body and nervous system more opportunity to settle.

Breathwork, relaxation, and body-focused exercises help you explore how your body and breathing respond to pressure and how that experience changes when there is more space and ease.

Instead of trying to make yourself relax, you’ll become more familiar with the contrast between holding on and letting go, effort and ease.

Day 6: Integration and Departure

Your final morning offers time to bring together the experiences and insights of the previous days.

During a concluding BodyMind session and reflection, you’ll explore the relationship between your body, emotions, and awareness, while considering what you would like to carry into everyday life.

After breakfast, there is time for one final walk, a moment by the sea, or simply some quiet time before leaving Sardinia.

The intention is not to depart as a different person, but to leave with a stronger connection to yourself and a deeper awareness of who you already are.
